Angel Tree 2012

It has started. Angel Tree 2012.

Reece's Rainbow's biggest fundraiser of the year, with the goal raise $1000 for all the AT children from November 1st to December 31st.

Near the end of day 2, there are two AT kids with FAMILIES, one child at $500 (half his goal!), one child over $300, 11 children with over $100, 16 children over $50, and 91 children under $50 but over $0. What a GREAT start to the season!

Unfortunately, there are still 93 kids at $0, but I'm sure it won't be that way for long!


This year, I am a warrior for the first time. And I'm actually sort of a double warrior. Rachel is a warrior for Lilly, and I'm a warrior for Owen. And we are teaming up to raise $1000 for each of them, with the ultimate goal to find each of them a family.

We have fundraisers in the works, and I will let you know as soon as they start. But the main one will be our blog, Handiwork for Lilly. Which during the AT season will be Handiwork for Lilly & Owen. Any funds will be split between the two of them, and go toward their AT goals.

Both Owen and Lilly are in the same region. Both of them turn 5 this year - Lilly did in February, and Owen will in December). Lilly has Down syndrome, Owen has Saethre-Crotzen syndrome (cranial facial). And they both need families.

Thank you for joining with us this Christmas season to help raise money and find families for these angels!! We have a big job ahead of us, but with God, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!
