Michelle Z, the Reece's Rainbow donations coordinator agreed to be pied when Lilly and Owen reached their Angel Tree goals. They reached them, and last night I finally got to visit her and I filmed the video you've been waiting for. Ruby and Dax helped too! :) Enjoy!!

The Proof of Your Love

Jesus, let my love look like You and what You're made of. Love's a sacrifice, and you were the perfect example. Show me how to love constantly and unconditionally, I still have a lot to learn. Without love, my life and what I do is meaningless and worthless. Show me what it means to love with agape love like You love me. Let my life be the proof of Your love!! Amen.

The way God sees him.

"The LORD doesn't see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart." - 1 Samuel 16:7b NLT

God doesn't see Owen as deformed, because He MADE him that way.

God doesn't see Owen as ugly, funny looking, or weird; He sees him as BEAUTIFUL.

And that's the way everyone should see him - beautiful, made in the image of God, and deserving of a family. Because that's they way he really is.

Two families...

Two families.... have stepped out in faith... and decided that sweet Aiden and beautiful Megan are deserving of a family, so they should have one!

Happy New Year!

As we count down the minutes of 2012 and move into the first minutes of 2013... I can't help but reflect on the past year even though I promised myself I wasn't going to do a year in review post. :) But just a few things tonight:

♥-The other day, Owen made his goal of $1000!!! Now.... Michelle gets to be pied!!! :)

♥-Owen's birthday was sometime in the month of December.... He turned 5 years old. Sweet boy spent another year without a family. When will his turn come??

♥-My little brother Elijah came home two years ago today!! It hasn't been the easiest two years, but it's been an amazing two years watching him learn and grow!! Go see pictures on my mom's blog. :)

♥-The law was signed by Putin... banning all adoptions of Russian orphans by Americans. Not all hope is lost, as there is a lawyer working on an amendment that will allow SN adoptions. Please keep praying!!!

♥-I look forward to seeing what the new year brings for everyone, and what it will bring in the world of orphan advocating. Each year always brings new adventures, the only question is what they will be.
