31 for 21 - 2 years later.

I posted the following post two years ago this month.... when I originally posted it, all the kids were waiting. When I reposted it last year, I updated on who had a family and who didn't. This year I am going to re-update it!

But my feelings the same

I laugh and I cry

So there we are. 

Out of the 28 children in that post...

-10 are HOME!

-3 have families working to get them!

-2 children are still available and waiting for a family - Mark and Bobby.

Tabitha, Rebekah, Lilly, Lizzy, Ilya, Timofey, Tori, Jonathan, Artem, Vika, Tanya, Cyril K, and Robyn.

Dear Russia.

Dear Russia,

Because of a stupid decision you made, this little girl can not come home to her family who was working to get her.

And she is now stuck in an orphanage, soon to be a mental institution, where she very well might spend the rest of her life.

She has so much joy, so much happiness, and now that's being taken away from her.

She will never be able to know what the love of a family is.

Not only her, but so many others.

All because a stupid decision you made.

If you were mad at America, couldn't you have done something else to retaliate? Maybe something that actually made the American government mad?

When you signed that law, you signed the death sentence for the vast majority these children.

Tabitha is just one of the many children who are now left to suffer and die because of your political games.

Just thought you should know the consequences of that decision.

I just removed another picture from my sidebar, from the pictures of waiting children. 

Why? Because that child HAS A FAMILY that loves her very much and will soon be working hard to bring her HOME!

Who is that child?

TABITHA!!!

Yes, my sweet sister of my heart has a family!!!

I am soo happy she'll be going home and will learn what it means to be LOVED!

 She has been waiting 2 1/2 long years.

 I know of at least 4 families that have wanted to adopt her but couldn't.

And now Miss Beautiful will not have to wait much longer before she can get out of that orphanage forever!!

A year later....

I posted the following post a year ago this month.... It was interesting to go back and see who is home now, who has a family, and who has a new picture. But the part that broke my hear was how many of them were still waiting, a year later. (Captions in italics under the pictures are updates I added for this post.)
