Waiting Wednesday: Ekaterina

Sweet Ekaterina... what can I can about her that her pictures don't tell you? She was born in March 2004, so she turns 8 years old sometime this month. She has Down syndrome (and also appears to have strabismus/crossed eyes) and because of it is shunned and tucked away and forgotten about in her country. She is another Teri Lynn, another Ksenia, and she needs OUT!

Before...

After...

Teri Lynn (who now has a family and is home as far as we know!)....

Ksenia (who is still waiting!)....

And Ekateria (who is also still waiting!)....

I love the name Ekaterina - it's unique, it's Slavic, it's beautiful. Ekaterina means blessed, pure, holy. When will someone see her as she really is? A blessed, pure, holy, and BEAUTIFUL child of God! A daughter of the King of kings! A Princess!

Ekaterina 16G

Girl born in March 2004
Ekaterina deserves a better life than this :(   Our children with special needs simply do not recieve the level of care they should in this region, and really need help fundraising.  It will not be possible to get additional medical info about these children until your dossier is registered.  Families adopting in this region must have an open heart and a leap of faith to save these children!
Look at how healthy she was as a baby, now she is a shell, tiny, and hidden away :(
Ekaterina has brown hair, blue eyes, and is described as inquisitive and active.  She has already been transferred to the institution.  Families should be home study approved prior to commitment.

Waiting Wednesday: Ksenia

Isn't this little one sweet?

What if I told you that this child (below) was the same little girl?

As impossible as it is to believe, it's true. Both are of the same little girl - Ksenia.

How many of you remember when RR got a new picture of Teri Lynn after she was transferred? The change was horribly terrifying.

I'm afraid sweet Ksenia has become another Teri Lynn, maybe worse.

Please feel free to repost this picture!

This is the info we have about her (she is listed in the additional children section of Region 7) -

alck-7

2003... that means she will be 9 years old next month. But don't let her age scare you away!! She is still such a little girl, and needs a FAMILY NOW before it's too late!!

Here is the info about her region:

Region 7 – General Information

PLEASE don't let her age and the cost of her region scare you away!!! She NEEDS YOU!!!

Because her region is open to Canadian families only, it's going to be even harder to find her a family. So they means we need to get her face EVERYWHERE! Post it on your blog, on Facebook, on Twitter, and any other social networking device you can think of. Please feel free to use the picture above, and link back to this post as much as you want! If she doesn't find a family soon, I'm afraid it will be too late!

SHE NEEDS A FAMILY NOW!!!!

Mr. Cole still needs a family!

Remember when I posted about Cole and Owen for Waiting Wednesday? Well, guess what! Mr. Owen...

has a family that committed to him! I'm so happy for him!! :)

But, Cole didn't get a family.... he still needs one!
I love how his hair is long in the back.. Very Eastern European!
Please, aren't you my mama???

And remember when I posted about Teri Lynn?

She has a family too! It was interesting how it came about but, she is coming home now and that's all that matters. You can read about that here on Adeye's blog!

In an institution...

Lay two sweethearts that need a family. I've posted about them before for Waiting Wednesday posts, and today they are heavy on my heart. Genesis and Natalia (RR links here and here).

Genesis' old photos:
When she first got listed
After she was transferred to an institution

Shortly after the last photo

Genesis' newest photo:

Natalia's photo:

It plain and simple breaks my heart. I started crying after seeing Genesis new picture. She's adorable, but they shaved all her beautiful hair off! I'm so glad she looks happy in the picture, but I bet as soon as whoever took the picture left the room, her toy was grabbed away from her, and she was pushed off whatever she was sitting on. :(

I don't have a new picture to share of Natalia, but she is 8, and very tiny. She has gorgeous blue eyes, and she needs a family NOW!!!

I ask you to please PRAY for these two sweeties! Not only pray for families, but pray for them! They are living in horrific sistuations, and need out before they perish!

And please don't forget Teri Lynn!

Her Grant now says:
$16428.30 is available towards the cost of my adoption!

Did you read that? That's as much as Eddie had in his grant! Please email Marianne at Marianne@reecesrainbow.org to make an inquiry to adopt her! She needs you NOW! She needs a family to CHERISH and LOVE her as my dear friend Rachel said in her post about her.

Pray. Please PRAY. And then ACT.

'Mazing.. Wednesday? - Zhen and Theo Nance

Today (which is supposed to be Monday even thought the calendar says Wednesday!), meet two little boys formerly from Elijah's former orphanage! :) Zhen and Theo Nance! And today I'm gonna let the pictures and videos tell the story!

ALEC & ZHENYA for the Nance family–Maize, KS

UKRAINE

Follow the adoption journey of the Nance family on their blog at www.psalmsixtyeight.blogspot.com

Still at the orphanage, and just home
Theo:

Zhen:

Today - Look at how much they have changed with the love of a family!
Theo:

Zhen:

This my friends, is why I advocate for these special children. I don't think Theo would still be on this earth if the Nance's didn't take the leap of faith to bring these boys home!

Unlike Theo, Teri Lynn still needs a family! Last time I checked, her grant was at:

$11591.50 is available towards the cost of my adoption!

That's over 11 thousand dollars more in her account from a week ago when I posted about her for WW!!!! Please, is she your daughter? I want to do a Faithful Friday or a Mazing Monday for her so bad, but I do NOT want to do a Resting with Jesus post for her. :(

She needs a FAMILY NOW, are you it?

Waiting Wednesday: Teri Lynn

Update: Teri Lynn has a family, thank you for praying and spreading the word about her!!!

I had been praying about who I would do today, and the answer came to me through my friend Briana's post for her Waiting Wednesday. Meet Teri Lynn:

Isn't she just sweet? She needs a family SOO BAD! It was today her new status was posted - 'HELP!! I HAVE BEEN TRANSFERRED!!', along with her new picture.

They shaved all her pretty hair off! :( And look how sad she now looks! My heart just breaks for her. If you haven't gotten the point yet, SHE NEED A FAMILY RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!

I just started following her warrior's blog today, and I'm going to borrow part of her post, but please go visit, follow, and read Teri Lynn's Turn!

HELP!! I HAVE BEEN TRANSFERRED!!

Those are the words written across Teri Lynn's RR page.

I had been praying for an update..
I did not expect to see that...

Can you believe that this is the
same little girl?!

Now..it must be Teri Lynn's Turn!

She needs a family!

She is available to older parents and single moms.

Time really IS ticking for Teri Lynn!

"Am I your Daughter?"

I wonder what her conditions are like..
I pray that she will live.

I pray that someone will open their hearts to this
little angel!

Before it's too late.

Put her face up everywhere - Facebook, Twitter, your Blog, Google Buzz, etc. Do whatever it takes to get her picture posted EVERYWHERE you possibly can! I KNOW her family is out there, we just have to find them! And MOST IMPORTANT - PRAY, PRAY, PRAY for this little girl!!!!
